Early Life
My name is Torey (Victoria) Schantz. I was born in Pittsfield MA to two artists. My parents divorced and remarried, which allowed me the privilege of being raised by four artists. I attended private lower education in Wilbraham MA, and San Francisco State University, where I earned a BA in Cinema Studies. I am a lover of television and film, and while I do not work in the industry, I do believe it continues to inform my creative process. Mise en scène has practical usage in all visual creative.
Career
I’ve lived and worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, and London. I am currently located in Boston.
Since finishing a Web Design program at Boston University CDIA in 2014, I have primarily worked in Ecommerce design. I enjoy working in the digital space because it is constantly changing, and therefore, I am always learning.
Beyond Ecommerce, I would love to creatively contribute in areas related to environmental conservation, access to education, and book cover art.
